mode à paris, printemps/été 2009

26 09 2008

Bonjour, tout le monde!

Something has changed in Paris. The air is crisper, yes, but it’s something else. In my neighborhood, the Marais, the boutiques are mobbed, the cafés are packed and the trendy lounges are standing-room-only. It’s Fashion Week, and it’s taken over the city.

This week, the biggest names in fashion will be unveiling their collections for Spring/Summer 2009, and the world will be watching. The intrepid little reporter I am, I managed to snag invites to a bunch of the events. While you won’t find me seated front-row next to Russian Vogue editor Aliona Doletskaya at the Chanel show, I will be bringing you exclusive coverage of shows for some of Paris’s hottest up-and-coming designers, as well as for some established names, including Elie Saab, Cher Michel Klein, Gaspard Yurkievich, Dévastée, Collette Dinnigan, Impasse La Defense, Wunderkind, Alena Akhmadullina and the Andrea Crews Fashion Project. Stay tuned!
