About

Jessica Arriola Marati is a freelance writer based in Paris, France. Born in San Francisco and raised in the Pacific island of Guam, she caught the travel bug early and has spent most of her life immersing herself in the study of her two heritages, Chamorro and Italian. Jessica graduated from Princeton University in 2008 with a B.A. in history. In college, she completely overhauled the Student Guide to Princeton during her two-year tenure as student editor and contributed content to the Office of Admissions, Lewis Center for the Arts and Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library websites. Magazines are one of her passions, and she has interned at CosmoGIRL!, Quick & Simple and In Style in New York. She has had work published in CosmoGIRL! (nationwide), Current Magazine (nationwide through Newsweek), The American (English-language publication in Italy), the Daily Princetonian (Princeton University), GU Magazine (Guam), Guahan Magazine (Guam) and the Pacific Daily News (Guam). She currently contributes to several regional magazines and blogs and is a travel blogger for CosmoGirl.com. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys sampling new cuisines, reading voraciously, scouring budget airline sites for new travel destinations and blogging about her adventures. She can be reached at jessica.marati@gmail.com.

Enjoyed your website. I had glimpsed Karim Bonnet (I think!) show on Euronews but missed the name so was scouring the internet for clues. I found your website. Well done! Now, I have to look at your Karim Bonnet pics: I’m still not sure that was who I saw, but never mind!
